Hey you! A new month has started and we are so close to a new year. A time of reflection, what can I do different to make my life a little better? What should I change? When should I start? New diet? New working habits? Perhaps a new hobby?
The following are steps you can apply to your daily life and see how it will help change those things that were not edifying to you into a positive purposeful lifestyle. Give it a try!!!
“ Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2
Action Plan Details
Step #1 – Dive into God’s Word Daily
Romans 12:2 – Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
Step #2 – Give thanks and praise God Daily
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 – 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Step #3 – Pray without ceasing Daily
Philippians 4:6 – Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
Step #4 – Confess your sins and forgive others Daily
Psalm 51:1 – Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins.
Step #5 – Surrender all to God Daily
Romans 12:1 – So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. (MSG version)
Step #6 – Listen for God’s voice Daily
Psalm 46:10 – Be still and know that I am God.
Step #7 – Daily believe God and soar
Jeremiah 33:3 – Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
