What is a Spiritual Boldness Vision Board?
A vision board is a powerful tool to help define, understand, and reach your goals. As a Christian, a vision board can also help us focus our attention on biblical principles and values.
By using images and words that represent what you want in life, a vision board can help give you clarity on the things you value most. It’s an excellent way to create a strong connection between your desires and your intentions.
By understanding these values, you can use them to shape the way you live your life and make decisions that align with what God has called us to do.
Spiritual boldness is gaining the courage to put into action what God has commanded you to do.

Create your personal Vision Board
The Bible has a lot to say about vision, and it’s important to understand the power and significance of having a vision in our lives.
Philippians 3:13-14 reminds us that we should “forget what lies behind, and press on towards the goal for the prize of the call of God in Christ Jesus.” This verse speaks to our need to have an eternal perspective on life.
Proverbs 29:18 also encourages us, stating, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.” Having a clear direction and purpose in our lives gives us focus and strength as we journey through life.
Habakkuk 2:2 encourages us to “write down this vision,”
Psalm 37:5 reminds us to “commit our way unto the Lord.”
Writing down our vision helps us keep track of what we want to do in life, and committing it to God brings His power into play and works with us to achieve our goal.
Ultimately, having a vision is essential for all believers. It equips us with direction, purpose, and strength as we go through life. With God’s help, we can use these Bible verses to gain insight into our own visions and strive towards achieving them!
Questions you can ask yourself when organizing your thoughts:
- Where do I see myself in 1-5, 10 years?
- What do I want to achieve in my life?
- Do these goals glorify God?
- What values and principles from the Bible am I committed to living by?
- How can I ensure that my vision board is aligned with God’s purpose and direction for me?
- What spiritual, mental, financial, relationship, and career goals has God impressed over my life?
- What Biblical verses or affirmations can I use to keep myself motivated and accountable?
Habakkuk 2:2 encourages us to “write down this vision”
Ensure your goals are “SMART.”
When creating your vision board, it’s important to include meaningful, inspiring, actionable, measurable, and attainable goals.
This is where the concept of “SMART” goals comes in. SMART stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely.
For example, instead of saying “I want to read the Bible more” as a goal on your vision board, you could create specific goals like “I will read 1 chapter of the Bible every morning for 30 minutes a day.” This is a SMART goal because it’s specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely.
By setting SMART goals on your vision board, you can ensure that you are taking steps to reach your desired outcome and that you are staying focused on achieving them.
Consider these two important steps
1. Prayer and Seek
Ensure that you are in prayer! It is also essential to read the word to ensure alignment and yielded to the Lord.
2. Display where you can see
This step is crucial in ensuring that your vision board is effective. Most people who say that vision boards don’t work don’t follow through with this step.
It would help if you displayed your vision board in an area before your eyes every morning. For example in the wall by your mirror or where you can easily see it and read it.
I pray God gives you a clear vision on how you can gain spiritual boldness and gives you the creativity to display it on your board. Be courageous. Welcome 2024 with boldness.
In Jesus name. Amen.
